The Foothills
Advocacy In Motion Society understands
that
every disabled
person shares with every "abled" person
the same basic needs that must be met:
to develop skills
to love and to be loved in return
to receive the support they require
to form friendships and relationships
to demonstrate strengths and abilities
to live under a decent standard of living
to be understood and accepted for who they are
to live and work where self-esteem can be enhanced
to be recognized as the unique individual each person is
