The principal
funder for the Society’s programs is the Calgary Region
Community Board for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD).

The Society is left with an annual
shortfall of approximately $125,000. The Society operates many
fundraising and revenue-generating activities throughout the year to
balance its operating budget.
This year
we have agreed to extend our services through the internet
technologies. We have been assembling a team of creative talent,
each with specified skills that can, aside from their regular duties,
contribute to what we foresee as a current and expanding venue.
Our goals are to not only introduce wider audiences to the work of the
Foothills AIM Society, but to begin providing information and resources
for that wider audience. Already the results have been positive as
we promote and develop our internet traffic. The recent increase
in viewers of footaim.com has been substantial.
And to help fund our growing services we are introducing our talents
back to our supporters.
