1. Care Providers

Qualifications: May be single, or a couple or even a family living in the High River area. Must be compassionate, have first aid and CPR or willing to obtain certificates. Expected to attend on-going training sessions held through out the year.
Duties: Care for adults with development disabilities, responsible for assisting individuals to acquire new skills and promote their overall safety and well-being. Most individuals are involved with a program for up to five days a week and various after hour activities and /or groups.

Conditions: Full-time permanent, and part-time permanent. Residential (in provider home) and Respite providers required.
Wage: Salary based on individuals’ level of need

2. Respite Providers

Duties: Respite provider for adults with disabilities
Conditions: 1 – 2 weekends/month in providers home.
Wage: Discussed at time of interview.

3. Front Line Staff - Printable Information (opens new window PDF)

Qualifications: Grade 12, 18 years or older, relevant experience in rehabilitation or human services, First Aid and CPR, Criminal Records check and a reliable vehicle.
Duties: Provide support, guidance and training to adults with developmental disabilities in workplace or recreational context.
Conditions: Casual with potential of leading to permanent.
Wage: $9.50/hr for casual, $10 - $15/hr for permanent.
Location: High River & Okotoks
